Wikiuutisissa ei tällä hetkellä ole byrokraatteja. Kaikki pyynnöt tulee suorittaa Requests for bot status, Requests for username changes ja Requests for permissions kautta. Johdannon jälkeen tämän sivun kieli vaihtuu englanniksi käytännön syistä: Metassa ylivalvojan oikeudella varustetut käyttäjät saavat pyynnöistä nopeammin selvää kun käytettävänä kielenä on englanti.

To fill out a new request for bot status, username change or sysop permission, follow next procedure:

1. Select the correct request area
2. Fill out after Wikiuutiset:Byrokraatit/Requests/Bots/, Wikiuutiset:Byrokraatit/Requests/Renames/ or Wikiuutiset:Byrokraatit/Requests/Permissions/ your current username (or your bot's current username)
3. For opening page, replace <content here> with correct content
4. Save page
5. Add your request at the top of "Current requests" in format of {{/Requests/Bots/Username}}, {{/Requests/Renames/Username}} or {{/Requests/Permissions/Username}}
6. Save page

To minimize Meta Steward burden, it is most important that request submitter does not add the same request in meta. This process is handled through Finnish Wikinews administrators, who will import requests in Meta within regular interim.

Bot short description: Bot will run with AWB and it will mostly correct typos. It will also to be used in other AWB-things that community asks. I will place a "block button" to its user page so sysops can block it if it does something wrong.
